I've been working as a lighting designer for over a decade, what more could you need to know?
I'm originally from Dayton, Ohio where I developed an early interest in the arts. In high school I joined the technical crew with the drama club and was hooked right away. There my love of lighting started to form and I soon grew into the role of student designer. When our high school was selected to perform on the Main Stage at the International Thespian Festival, I realized theatre was something I could take beyond being a fun hobby.
To further my theatre education, I relocated to Chicago to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University. After obtaining a BFA in Lighting Design, I decided to remain in the Chicago area working as a freelance Electrician, Assistant Lighting Designer, and Lighting Designer.
